Imagine… you’re moving in with your wife to whom you were just married to, and you have a fresh start going into a house that needs a lot of work. Now you get to the point of making a decision to either paint the walls or put wallpaper on. How are you going to make that call? Well here’s a few suggestions for all you newlyweds in order to spruce up your first place together.
Think for a moment about wallpaper. It’s beautiful, when it’s not torn, and has thousands upon thousands of designs that can be put on the paper. However, because the paper can get scratched or torn pretty easily, it must take extreme caution not to scratch it every time you walk past it. Then you realize that if your house has some leaking problems in the future, that it could severely affect the wallpaper, and then the cost to strip it down and replace it would take too much time and effort.
But with colored walls, on the other hand, the expenses come down to paint brushes, a few rollers, painters tape, and the paint itself. It can be done in just a few hours, and if the wall does indeed get scratched, you can easily spread some more paint on that spot to make it look like it never happened. And if there happens to be a little water damage in the future, no problem! It can easily be fixed. While the wallpaper is classy looking and the feel is warm, wall coloring would be our suggestion due to the cheaper costs, and a better outcome and the job is easier.
